AN UNLIKELY PAIR Dream ticket dreamers? Keep dreaming. Sources in the Obama camp are lowering expectations, saying that it is unlikely that Hillary Clinton would be chosen as Obama's VP. With pundits on either end of the spectrum opining that it is either the only way for Barack Obama to win or the worst possible thing he can do, I'm not sure what to believe. [WSJ]

Regardless of his choice, she'd be asset to any team for the same reason some of you dislike her so much. I don't expect it to be in the VP role. Maybe she can be his Carl Rove with the exception of the whole thinking for him bit. More like planting land mines (figurative or literal) for the McCain campaign. I'm seriously not kidding. If you don't think he needs that to succeed, flashback to October 2004. The GOP is not about to lose power in the white house in addition to losing Congress without a fight. A very ugly fight. And truth or goodness or any of that positive stuff wins.
