Law & Order: SVU

Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni are brilliant.

30 Rock is pretty awesome. Chappelle Show was genius. Arrested Development gets it for the years prior. UK's Coupling was great. Daria on MTV would have won.

I'm sure The Wire is awesome. According to Stuff White People Like, it Thhe Wire is awesome and the right kind of white people love it. I only allow myself one unfunny show and SVU has a firm lock on it. When the world is bright and sunny again, I'll rent it but I have no immediate plans of watching it.

the wire is fantastic, and i'm pretty sure that Season 4 was the best season of any show in the history of television.

But don't take my word for it:

From the police department to the school system, The Wire showed us the complexities of a dirty political game in a major city. A political game that was sometimes more brutal the hopeless urban landscape that was depicted. The Wire was infinitely times better than the Sopranos, but never got the appropriate praise.

the wire was my show, hands down. why they didnt get nominated, idk, but they really deserved it. season 5 brought everything full circle. and i dont think i've ever cried for ANYTHING as much as i did for this season…from omar's death and mike taking his place, bubbles getting clean and dukie shooting up, chris locked up and snoop dead, randy in the group home (even tho i was happy to see namond doing good), hell even poot leaving the game and working in a shoe store had me feeling some type of way. this show had an impact on me, in a way no show has ever had.

its sad…when the wire was on i had no life

Even though people always short changed it because of it's title and "supposed premise", during its run Buffy the Vampire Slayer was easily one of the best shows of television. It was daring, mature, thoughtful and used it's subject matter as a metaphor to deal with many real life adult issues….I thought all was lost when it was cancelled but "Pushing Daisies" I think now will be able to take it's place…

Southpark, even though I don't watch this show too much, I know it's great.

In its day, X-Files was my show. I was and am a true X-Phile.

I haven't seen The Wire, but I'm sure I would love it from what I hear about it.

The wire hands down. OZ was also a very well written show. How has HBO been able to develop such good programing in comparrison to the old standby networks?
