Mr. T.I. holds the dubious distinction of committing perhaps the most serious crime of the year in black celebrity-dom*. After the convicted felon, who is not legally permitted to own guns at all, was caught purchasing an impossible number of machine guns through his bodyguard-turned-informant, the game was instantly over. He's now under house arrest, and his artists are making a mad dash from his label. They probably know something that we all suspect, which is that T.I. — who was at the pinnacle of his music career and building a strong acting portfolio — is going to be out of commission for a long, long time.
