Wow, I am actually in the process of reading this book right now. It's actually really frightening what has been done to black americans in the name of science/medicine. It's actually revolting some of the things that were done. There was one doctor that did operations to repair vaginal fistulas on slave women with no anesthesia what so ever! He would dope them up on morphine AFTER in order to control them so he could proceed to experiment on them some more. He was later seen as the "father of modern gynecology" and has had many monuments and even a hospital named after him. SMH.
I'm going to add this book to my list.
I just sent the blurb out to all my friends and almost all of them have gotten back to me saying they are going to buy the book.
