I am so thankful that Whoopi is a co-host on The View. She has such a tasteful way of shutting down Elisabeth.

They did a good job of picking Shari "the earth is flat" Shepherd, because she doesn't even get angry at Elizabeth, she just kinda sits there. I too am glad whoopi's there to stand up for intelligent black women.

Co-sign, Dee and Aya. What I love about Whoopi is she makes intelligence beautiful. But, unfortunately, too many Black folks reward the "cute" (Sherri) over the "smart" (Whoopi).

Sherri isn't as stupid as people think. She consistently makes valid points (which isn't hard to do when Elisabeth says stupid shit).

People just think she's stupid because of the whole "Earth is flat" and "Jesus came before Greeks" lines—which are pretty stupid but come on—two things.

Not a fan of Barbara Walters, but she gets a thumbs up for hiring Whoopi. Hasselback is clueless on so many issues I wonder why she remains on air.
