Protesters in Los Angeles have a major problem with R. Kelly and his Double Up tour rolling into town, mainly because the show is being held at The Forum, a venue owned by Faithful Central Church.
I doubt the people at the church are as concerned with R. Kelly's lyrics as they are with the money the concert will bring in. I guess the protesters don't understand that money has never committed statutory rape and filmed it nor has it offered to feel on a woman's booty nor has it compared a woman to a jeep because it wanted to ride her. Child pornographers need concert venues, too.
But before the church owned it was where the Lakers played for years and it was the major concert venue in LA. The Forum is also right next door to a race track where you can gamble and drink all night and a male strip club called Chocolate City. I guess they have no issue with that? There's no way the church can afford to keep The Forum if they don't allow resular concerts to roll through every now and then. Yes, even R. Kelly.

If I was the protesting kind, I too would do the same. Seriously though, it's not just R Kelly's lyrics. It's his character/pedophilia that's for more disturbing than his middle school like songs about taking trips to "Uranus"
