However unorthodox it seems, I often feel bad for Karrine Steffans. She obviously thought for many years that sex was the only thing she had to offer in the world, and thus allowed herself to be used and thrown away like a piece of trash over and over again. That's got to do something to your psyche. Case in point — what made her feel like she had to continue having excruciatingly painful sex with Mike Tyson for hours (if what she wrote is to be believed, of course)? Also, ewww. From the The Vixen Diaries:
Mike Tyson, she writes, "loves the same way he fights: hard and rough. His kisses are like uppercuts, and his lovemaking is like a title match. And as he proved against Evander Holyfield, Mike Tyson is a biter. His passion manifested through pain as … I endured the extreme force of his 200-pound frame colliding into mine, he kissed, sucked and bit me overzealously. I was in excruciating pain as we continued in this manner for several hours. At the end, I was covered in bruises and bite marks and vowed to never have sex with him again."
But the feeling bad for her part is just sometimes. Most of the time, I'm just thinking she's the dirtiest, most opportunistic woman alive. Case in point:
She also went a round with boxer Antonio Tarver shortly before his marriage. As she watched Antonio kiss his new wife, Steffans muses, "I recalled his face and lips [exploring my body] … I wondered how I tasted to her."
Although this post might have been a nice free advertisement, if this is the sort of thing that floats your boat, but I am hoping that no one buys her new book, and she'll go back to living a life of anonymous promiscuity. But I think we might be stuck with her.

what a stupid, stupid woman.
Karrine is a fractured woman. She has troubles that the average person can only begin to understand. I do not know her background, but I have known a few women like her and the demons they live with stem from some really, really crazy ish in their childhood. Was this woman raped or sexually abused? Maybe that we don't know about? I have never seen that type of blatant sexual aggression in women who have not been abused in some form. She is not normal at all. I don't care what she says or how she tries to spin it, she has problems with her soul. And problems like that start very early.
bmd, I read a summary of her book on Tyra or some website. Basically, her mom had some personal problems and wasn't around much. She did really well in school. Then she somehow decided to marry some idiot has-been rapper as a teen. He forced her to strip and beat her. My guess is that she was regularly sexually assaulted as a kid. It's that naivety that leads her to believe that she can now use men the way they used her and still use her. At some point, someone has made her believe that sex is all she has to offer and she believed them. She is indeed a very broken person, but my sympathy wore out a bit when she decided to write another book.
There's something she said that affirms that she is all sorts of screwed up: I felt bad for [Usher] so I f-ed him.
I have never had sympathy for her actually. Her display of her deeds is what kills the deal for me. I don't judge, but when she makes a spectacle of herself - I just can't help but think of her as trash. As much as I hate to think of people like that. Her video diaries make me sick.
That is one lost soul.
Karrine is a very, very, sick individual. Her new book definitely brought out all what she is. She has grandiose thoughts, which are exhibited in her new book, which clearly shows she is disillusioned beyond repair. She is totally hypocritical to her friends and many people that she meets. She puts everyone down while putting herself on this grandiose scale of hers. Her book is structurally disorganized with many things repeated over and over. She should have stopped with the first book. Don't buy are read the book, it is a waste of time. It was a journal that she sat down and wrote, but without some of the dates.
As they say "Don't hate the playa, hate the game"!
Kiss and tell, is that why people are hating on her? Karrine did no different than ANY man who "tells it" especially if the prey was easy. How many of those brothas she got with, put her name out there for another brotha to experience what she did to or for someone else? Kiss and tell p-lease!!! She wanted so badly to be in that world and found out, "ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD" To a fantasy and illusion-free mind one can see Karrine by far is not the only prostitute in the hollywood and rap game. Question is though, "Why would some of these same rappers want a spot on the Oprah Winfrey Show? Let me try and try hard to understand this. You want "acknowledgemnet" from a self-respecting, self-made, billionaire and oh who happens to be a black woman but your money is earned through disrespecting and/or demeaning black women who look like your sisters, daughters, mothers and wives talk about…TWISTED! Karrine IS NOT the only one in this saga who has issues!
comon now, it doesnt matter man or woman…kissing and telling is just grimey…the fact that she allowed herself to sleep with married men is wrong. like they say–it takes two to tango. you can blame all the men and try to say they just used her for sex, but time after time she let her self be thrown into that situation…the girl has no shame…trying to act like she has grown and overcome as a person–that has nothing to do with it. all the wives of the men she slept with need to whoop her ass…kissin and telling ruins families.
