Hey! Why did Times writer Ellen Carpenter just gloss over this rather telling piece of information in Sunday’s puff piece about a Thursday night on the town with R&B star Ashanti?
By dinnertime, Ashanti was starving. “I don’t remember the last time I ate,” she said as she rode an elevator to the club’s garden-floor dining room. She paused to think. “It was a Carney’s turkey burger. That was Wednesday afternoon in L.A.”
And right when you go, “Wait, wha? Before big events Ashanti starves herself?” Carpenter’s already onto the famous guests in attendance at the singer’s album release party.
I feel like this is totally possible. The woman is preparing for her long pushed back album release and most likely has a million and one things to do not to mention that the pressure for her to look perfect is probably weighing heavily on her. Benonsense master cleanses every time she has something major to do and that's pretty much her not eating, so what's the difference? One is drinking a juice that can tear your insides up and the other is probably surviving off of chewing gum and water. They are all kooky.
Must be the master cleanse diet.
The hunger goes away after day 3. I don't know about some of you, but if I'm running around busy and don't eat for 2 days, my blood sugar will dip too low and I will feel like crap, keeping me from getting work done/
Female celebrities starve themselves before a big events that's not even news. That's has been going on since forever. How else are they going to get into "sample size" designers dresses.
She still looks good
Can we visit why the New York Times is even doing a piece about Ashanti?
