Backlash Over Obama's Israel Speech Continues In The Middle East
Gaddafi: Obama's Pro-Israel Because Of A Race-Induced Inferiority Complex

gaddafi.jpgConsequences of Barack Obama's speech, during which he said "Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided" — to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee: First Hamas withdraws its unofficial endorsement, surely to the delight of the Obama campaign, and now Libya's Muammar Gaddafi has announced that "his Kenyan friend" probably has a major inferiority complex because he's black. What these guys may or may not realize is that their criticism does nothing but help Obama amongst the sorts of Americans — whose vote he unfortunately needs — who think he's a secret Muslim terrorist.

"The statements of our Kenyan brother of American nationality Obama on Jerusalem… show that he either ignores international politics and did not study the Middle East conflict or that it is a campaign lie," he said.

"We fear that Obama will feel that, because he is black with an inferiority complex, this will make him behave worse than the whites."

"This will be a tragedy," Gaddafi said. "We tell him to be proud of himself as a black and feel that all Africa is behind him."

Obama certainly thanks Gaddafi for the pep talk, as well as his pronounced understanding of both American politics and Barack Obama himself. Somewhere in the How To Lose A U.S. Presidential Election manual, there's a chapter called "Speak Out Against Israel." Understandably, Obama isn't following that manual.

Right after "speak out against Israel" is "have rogue leader give you pep talk and follow their advice so as not to appear worse than the whites."

Were there no people to kill today Mr. Gaddafi? How ever did you find time to give tips to a presidential candidate? Cuz we know you were elected and all so you MUST be all-knowing.

Daria-Gaddafi has female bodyguards to protect him now. He relies heavily on the female intuition to protect him against his enemies.

Obama IS pandering to the jews here and in Israel, and while I understand why he feels he has to do that, it doesn't make it any less palatable. Our blind support of a terrorist state (Israel) is a huge part of our problem in that part of the world.

Solitaire- He has no choice. Even Jimmy Carter stated that it's a must. Otherwise, he'll never get into office. He was getting critisism for not supporting Israel enough.

But how fucking sad is it that people want him to support the new wall of apartheid?
I'm so tired of hearing my jewish friends call Israel a "nation of peace." I really wish people were educated by their leaders on this issue, not deceived.

I'm not comfortable with the "F**k Israel" comment, black Jew that I am.

The "idea" of Israel in its beginnings; a secular, non-racist, non-sexist society has not been implemented. A nation of peace? It could have been.

I feel that is why the USA supports it blindly; they are similar nations. Both are now militaristic religious nations fueled by racism.

A nation of peace? It could have been.

Aren't we optimistic.

No, I don't think Israel could possibly have been peaceful. A crystal ball wasn't necessary to predict that there'd be endless conflict as a result, not that Israel's absence would bring peace to the region. Has there ever been peace in the region? Giving enemies a common enemy means thatyou must now support them (besides Iraq, they receive the most aid money of any other country). It's amazing to me that the U.S. has so much gentile guilt while the Europeans seem to have wiped their hands clean of the matter. But then Americans didn't slaughter their people or stand back while they were slaughtered right under their noses.

My issue with the ISRAELI GOVERNMENT, not the Israeli people, is the treatment of Palestinians. It's horrible that civilians continue to die on both sides because of their leaders' f-ery.

All this said, I don't exactly see any other countries in the region supporting Palestinians in any constructive way (providing shelter, building schools, allowing free migration to a safe haven).

No, daria.
"Optimistic" would be if I thought Israel could work. I know it can't. I said "It could have been".
I am not talking about its recent incarnation.
I mean the "Israel" of the early zionism movement: 18th and 19th century literature (eg: Daniel Derronda by George Eliot).
A place where Jews could live in harmony with their neighbours; not displacing them and turning them into refugees in their own land.

One of the oldest inhabited parts of the world, the region has had peaceful periods under the Assyrian, Egyptian, Hellenistic, Arab Calyphate rule, Mamluk and Ottoman empires. Peace is NOT impossible in the region.

Obama will inherit these problems.
The USA supports the 2 most disliked states of the region: Israel and Saudi Arabia.

As a Palestinian who has lived there for 9 years, I still resent Obama for his cruel statements. Like he recently came to Ramallah and called Palestinians delusional for hoping for some jusice.

Now I know that it is necessary for him to side with the racist colonial genoscide motherfuckers that Israelis are in order to become President, but it still saddens me.

It still does not make sense, I mean racism is pretty popular, should people become prejudiced and racist to get what they want?

The end doesn't justify the means.

Sorry Mr. Hypocritical Obama

I kind of agree with the President of Libya, because Obama has to side with a country of ruthless white colonizers in order to get into a white house full of white powerful men. Like he needs to pick on some people to get into a big gang of bullies.

Get my drift?

BTW I love this website/blog. I read it everyday.

So off topic I know.

Daria, you are amazing. ;)
