Beautiful Girls Give Sean Kingston "Suicidal Thoughts"

Is the "Search for the next Biggie" officially over? Producers of the upcoming B.I.G. biopic, including Diddy and the late rapper's mom, Voletta Wallace, have said they want to find an unknown actor to play the larger-than-life role. Instead, they found a moderately know reggae/pop singer, Sean Kingston, the young Jamaican responsible for "Beautiful Girls." I guess the kid has approximately the right look, but can he act? Sorry, I can't judge by his performance in the the video.

I feel suicidal everytime I hear that song. As far as him playing Biggie (and I can't believe i'm saying this), I don't think he's ugly enough.

Once again, people who have gone through professional acting classes are passed up for a singer who probably cannot act.

That's a movie that doesn't need to be made. I might be offending some, but was he really that great? It just seems like when someone dies prematurely, they get too much credit. Marilyn Monroe, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Chris Farley, Anna Nicole, most of the dead Kennedies, etc.

He would have been. He and Tupac would have been on some other ish in the rap game. What's the line from Blade Runner??? Oh…

"A star than shines twice as bright shines half as long."

Well, we should be encouraging Lindsay Lohan behavior if people want to be remembered.

No. I think the comment means very artistically talented ppl are extremely flawed somehow. there are some ppl who are just brilliant (and we only see a glimpse) and for whatever reason - self inflicted or not - their light burns out. I mean, we only saw a glimpse of Hendrix, Basquiat, Gilda Radner, River Pheonix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Bruce Lee, Sylvia Plath, Belushi, Sam Cook, etc.

What is it with me and lists today??
