It always baffles me that showbiz parents, knowing what they know, let their kids get into the business. When you're in a movie together, like Will and Jaden Smith were in The Pursuit of Happyness, at least the parent can keep an eye on the child. But now little Jaden has plans to star in another movie,Newton's Law, about a young inventor trapped in a science center. And while his dad's production company is behind it, Will Smith won't be acting in it.
There goes Jaden's childhood.

Ugh. After his little attitude display during the Oscars, I'm officially tired of the entire Smith clan! That little boy is as irritating as his mama…and his daddy for that matter.
I don't know about Jada being irritating; I always thought she had a pretty face, wore her hair in unconventional ways, and didn't seem too worried about speaking black patois.
But, I did see some instance of the little boy talking in a way that suggested he'd a) been prepped too much (suggestive of stage mother or too many handlers) or b) developed a grossly inflated perception of his talents. I suppose the two aren't mutually exclusive.
Less of him. At least until after high school.
Will and Jada don't send their kids to school, so any screwing up that would happen wouldn't be solely based on having Jaden become an actor. Dakota Fanning seems to be turning out fairly well-adjusting, rape scene withstanding. I'm sure there are other well-adjusted child actors. I can't name any at the moment.
Well, Scarlett Johannson seems okay.
