Oh how I remember the days when talking about the, what seemed, improbable was so shortsighted on our part. When I was a little "maverick" I was around grown folks who would always mention "they'll never let a black man be president…". When I was in highschool it was pretty much the same old song that I would repeat. How utterly fucking stupid was I to fall for such horrible and oppressive behavior.

But you know what… I've come to terms with that period in my life… and I've learned to repent. Now look at us…
