Beyonce And Tina Launch House of Dereon In Canada
And Allow Solange To Tag Along

hodcanada.jpg

It's almost as if Solange was allowed to come to Canada to launch House of Dereon with her mother and sister only if she was okay with wearing the least noticeable outfit and having to do her own hair. This picture lays bare all the inequalities in that family. It's not really Beyonce's fault, though, and in the Knowles' defense, what family doesn't have inequalities of some sort? More evidence after the jump.

Solange's outfit is the nicest and that's saying something considering they are all wearing House of Dereon.

I just think Solange and Beyonce are total opposites…Beyonce is more flashy like her mom and Solange is more understated like her father.

There similar to my sister and I…I'm super into fashion and my sister likes fashion buts she's much calmer about it…she's not big on shopping and being the standout…

honee, I agree. I hate flashy. Still, all of them look bad here. Tina Knowles needs to stick to doing hair because every time she dresses her more famous daughter, she undoes a year's worth of good that designers have done. Need we remember the matching tacktastic outfits of DC circa 99?

They need to stop with that line. It's all very reminiscent of old, mostly Jewish women in Miami playing Canasta. The gold shoes just seal the deal.

I will admit that HOD is terrible. I hate the clothes, but let's be honest…who is wearing it other than B? I have never seen anyone in HOD. It shouldn't surprise us that the line flashy and gaudy. They are from Houston after all. You ever been to H-town?? I'm gonna get my ass kicked b/c all the Texas lurkers 'bout to come out, but seriously..no disrespect to the H-town folks but whenever I've gone there it seems like the broads wear that kind of ish…maybe not HOD, but flashy stuff. HOD seems more like stuff that I used to see in the swapmeets when I was in high school. It just seems dated.

I've never been to Houston but all my Texan friends are a bit more flashy than the rest, but not in tacky way. I can't believe I actually just defend people I tease relentlessly.
