Well, color me surprised. It's been obvious that an endorsement from New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, the only Hispanic governor in the U.S. of A., was imminent. I was just sure he would be handing that endorsement to Hillary Clinton, but he's decided to ride with Barack Obama instead. This endorsement is coming at a rough time for Obama — Clinton is ahead of him in public opinion polls and for all the talk about how brilliant his race speech was, it seems that people who had already made up their minds about Rev. Jeremiah Wright didn't change after they heard Obama speak.
"I believe he is the kind of once-in-a-lifetime leader that can bring our nation together and restore America's moral leadership in the world," Richardson wrote in a statement. "As a presidential candidate, I know full well Sen. Obama's unique moral ability to inspire the American people to confront our urgent challenges at home and abroad in a spirit of bipartisanship and reconciliation."
Barack Obama said he was honored by Bill Richardson's words. Honored and relieved, probably. What say you, John Edwards?
We saw how well Ted Kennedy and Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver (is it just me or does she have a prostitute hairdo) did to deliver Massachusetts, New York and California to Obama.
Oops! I almost forgot! Those are BIG states! Obama can't win BIG states because he can't frontload the primary with kids and special interest groups who will bully every caucus into going his way! There is so much misogynist hate for Hillary going on it is turning me into a feminist and I am not even a female. Obama is a complete fraud. He made no effort to be a conciliator in Illinois or U.S. Senate. He just wants to feed his ego.
it's just you.
