Bill Richardson's Out Of The Presidential Running

Bill Richardson's campaign is staying mum, but word on the street is he's going to drop out of the race. Yes, the Dems just lost a little bit of color. I would poll you guys to see if you care about this development much, but I'm pretty sure I know the general response. His name wasn't Clinton or Obama or Edwards, after all.

Never cared for him. If I were basing it on debate performance, in the last ones, he did better than the top 3 candidates.

He'll make a great cabinet member of some sort (again). I'd love to see him at the UN also. I love his sense of humor and his smarts. I'm a little sad to see him go actually.

Nice guy. Good potential. It just wasn't his year.

I was sad to see him go and even though I LOVE Obama, I really liked Richardson. Hopefully we will see him again.

If Hillary or Obama win the nomination, they should pick him as VP. Both likely presidential candidates are at increased risk of getting assassinated, especially Obama (people hate Clinton, but I think people are more likely to risk going to jail over a black man). Richardson is half Mexican. My guess is that if there's one thing they'd hate more than a black man, a Clinton or a woman running, it'd be a Mexican, especially the Lou Dobbs-watching folk.

Or Kucinich as VP. No one wants an alien a heartbeat away either. :-)

He's a bright man, and the only candidate who actually had diplomatic experience. Unfortunately for him, we live in a society obsessed with the cult of personality, and he had none. I would love for him to be made an ambassador or Vice President though.

I would much rather have him as a candidate than Hillary. I was hoping he would have gained a little more support.

The most qualified candidate in the race, by far. It's a shame he's such a poor campaigner and debater.

Yea, his debate skills made me cringe sometimes. He was very difficult to watch in the early debates.
