Black Hollywood Meets for Speech in Denver

Entertainment Tonight last night sent its blackest reporter out to interview every African American celebrity he could find. Lucky for him, many of them had converged on Denver's football stadium to watch Obama's speech.

Did you know celebrities are all friends? They are! Oprah was hugging Mary J Blige! Kanye was answering questions for Oprah! And then Forest Whitaker came out of nowhere to use words like "pride," "humanity," "beautiful," "core" and "destiny."

Check out the video after the jump. My favorite part is when Kanye literally bum-rushes Oprah's interview, at first screaming from off-camera, then pushing through the crowd until he's also in the shot. His important message: Obama's inspired him to be a better, more selfless person, of course. Ha!

OMG! It just brings tears to my eyes how people of all races and walks of life can come together for a black man. This is amazing. I would so want to move out of the country if McSame wins. We must vote for change. OBAMA 08!!!!

Don't you think it's a diss on Obama that after people go on about how moved they are by his speech…. ET covers how moved Vanessa Milasomething is about a fat suit? Jeez.
PS
"I see emotion in your face. It's all emotion." Bwahahaha.

Oprah likes Kanye! He's been on her show twice and she made him part of the red campaign for Aids in Africa with Bono. Stop looking for some mess where there is none… Very crab like

umm eff off. just because she likes him does not mean she can't be annoyed at him for bumrushing her moment. now, granted this MAY or MAY NOT be the case, i was not there, i don't know. i was only making an observation. i won't even get into how the "celebrity charity" bit does not make them the best of friends. and by the way, while you are talking about crablike behavior, write a letter to your dear Oprah regarding her divisive behavior when she has other rappers on her show. give me a break.

The interviewer asked Kanye a question. He didn't interrupt. You'l note that other celebs later appeared.

Oprah has yet to apologize for labeling an entire nation of people corrupt so as far as I'm concerned, anyone and everyone can interrupt her. I just don't want to hear it. Love how she's like "oh, i didn't want to make it about me, but yeah, (what Kanye said) it changed my life." Whatever.
