Rush Hour 3 premiered yesterday at Mann's Chinese Theater (where else?!?) in LA. I don't need to see it to know that it will likely be as wildly successful as the last two and that Chris Tucker will disappear from the big screen again until it's time to film installment No. 4. After the jump, check out the moviegoers, including Magic Johnson, Chris Rock, and a very, very, very, very tall Chinese basketball star who has a cameo in the film.
I hope this flops, but it probably won't b/c white ppl like the idea of an Asian dude who can't speak English and a silly, joke telling black guy fighting crime. I am so tired of this duo (and these movies). The first one was funny, but Mel Gibson and Danny Glover they are not. Also, unless the word "fuck" is coming out of Chris Tucker's mouth, he just isn't funny to me. Sorry. Some comedians totally fall off when they go clean. Eddie, can you hear me?
I think the movie won't do well b/c the interest and excitement is over. People waited and waited for the 3rd to come out. After a lot of time passed, the fantasy wore off and people were like 'whatever'.
I'm kinda one of those people. I'm not even interested in seeing this anymore.
Yeah, he was never the same after Bigger and Blacker.
lol@P-Lo.
Well looking at opening sales and who was number one at the box office at the time, RH3 did pretty well I'd might say … =P
I can't believe Quincy is that old. Back when he was doing Off the Wall/etc with Mike, I didn't even know he was 50 than.
