As far back as the 2005 Teen Choice Awards, it looked like Nick Cannon might have had a thing for Mariah Carey. These days, sources are confirming the rumor that the unlikely pair is engaged. This all seems very uncharacteristic of MC, but not so much Nick Cannon. Not only does he have a history of hasty, suspiciously-timed engagements (see his relationship with Selita Ebanks… also see the ring he gave Selita Ebanks), he also has a history of pulling women of a far higher level of attractiveness or fame than one would expect. He must be really charming in person.

I just figured he’s REALLY good in bed to get Christina and Selita. With Selita, there might have been some social climbing going on on her end but still. She can do better.

I just don’t get it??!!! I find him annoying, he seems like he’s always on. I dont know how he even got one date with Selita or Mariah. I still think its all publicity! But he could definately teach a class on charm cuz he must have a lot.

Kim dated Ray J. It’s safe to say that her taste in men is questionable though I must applaud her on her current bedmate. Girl upgraded from Motel 6 to the Ritz though now that she’s tainted him with Ray J fluids, he’s looking more like the Holiday Inn.

I can’t see him with Mariah. She’s definitely not they type of woman he is associated with. Truthfully, she doesn’t have a natural tan, although she is mixed, she looks more white than black. They seem like an odd couple. Mariah with Derek Jeter or Mariah with Luis Miguel looked like a better fit for her, than Nick Cannon. Besides, I heard she is actually dating a Jewish guy.
