I would scream "spoiler alert," but if you're a blog reader you have surely come across this information already. Whitney became the first plus-sized contestant to win America's Next Top Model. A long (okay, short) line of struggling-to-make-it size twelves came before her. Check them out below. If I had to choose a winner out of this bunch, it would be Toccara. But only as long as she's not required to open her mouth.
I hate hate HATE Whitney. She reminds me of many typical dumb blonde sorority girls that I know around here. Ugh.
I find it laughable that they consider her to be plus size when she is a size 8-10. That is hardly plus. Most women are a size 14. (That's what I always hear on the news.)
Whitney by far was NOT the best in this cycle. Her winning was it for me I'm not watching anymore Top Model seasons.
Tyra needs to learn from project runway and AI. Once a year! Once a year! Not once a month
Although I was happy to see a more normal sized girl win, I hate Whitney!! I would have rather seen Anya or Fatima win.
That girl is not plus sized. Unless she's 6'4" and carries that weight REALLY well, she looks like an 8/10.
I hate that Whitney won and didn't care for Anya's whining nor Fatima's anti-African American antics (she beefed with every other sister on the show except for Stacey Ann-from the first episode). Whitney was ok but not the best "plus-sized" model ANTM has had, based on viewing prior seasons. Tyra has disappointed me in her final choice more than once (Mrs. Peter Brady with her jacked up Joliet accent & Nicole-who caused so much grief with Bree I coulda smacked her), but she annoyed me with how they dwindled this pack down to a so-so group and got rid of girls for stupid reasons.
Example: She'll choose someone for their "unique" look then dog them for how their unique features don't photograph well hanging upside down underwater or something. WTF? I'm tired of it and won't waste my Wednesday nights watching that sham of a competition.
