I can't remember the last time I posted a comment on this sight but my father has never been there for me or paid any child support.

Him and my mom were married in the mid 70s, but by the late 70s, it was clear to her (and everybody else) that he was not cut out to be husband/father/provider.

This was not an issue for me in high school where almost everybody was in the same boat(99% black)

But now I work with mostly white people and it seems that most of them grew up in a two parent family…Which gives me a fucked up feeling 'round this time every year.

If you grew up with a real father(or father figure) in the house, consider yourself blessed…
