Detroit, Detroit, Detroit. City Councilwoman Monica Conyers, who happens to be the wife of Congressman John Conyers, recently found herself in hot water with a bunch of morally-upstanding middle schoolers after calling the city council president Shrek during a public meeting. Luckily for her, this is Detroit we're talking about, so an argument with an 8th grader about adult standards of conduct pretty much pales in comparison to salacious text messages between the mayor and his chief of staff. Also, at least she wasn't wearing a tiara when it all went down.
