The executive vice-president of Fox News seems to think that this probably-faux mutilation story is way more important than it actually is. "If Ms. Todd’s allegations are proven accurate, some voters may revisit their support for Senator Obama, not because they are racists (with due respect to Rep. John Murtha), but because they suddenly feel they do not know enough about the Democratic nominee. If the incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain’s quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting." Real or hoax, if anyone decides who to vote for based on this, they're not very smart. And, most importantly, if McCain's campaign is forever linked to race-baiting, it won't be the fault of Ashley Todd.
From the perspective of a Pittsburgh local, this looks like more race-baiting from the GOP:
Read About It.
clearly his statement makes so logical sense in life and i just gave myself a minor headache trying to work that out….. this random seemingly fake story is going to end McCain? oh so the KKK-esque rallies, bold faced lies in ads and his eye-rolling and overall transparent body language didn't do anything to his campaign but a chick with a backwards B ends it all….
ow…
my head…
…WAIT. Now she was sexually assaulted, too????
so, now that she admitted to lying, will the McCain campaign be over?!? Or at least forever linked with race baiting…just wondering.
(imitating FOX with a deep gruff voice)
Ahem …cough cough…
It seems like this misguided but genuine McCain camp volunteer was misled…
In other news Obama kills puppies… It's true! Prove us wrong!!
(Rolling my eyes)
Desperation and we know Fox news is very unreliable
