Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds will probably tie the knot somewhere overseas, presumably to avoid Johnny Gill crashing through the church doors during the "speak now or forever hold your piece" portion of the ceremony.
Edmonds told Sister 2 Sister about her engagement, which began in front of the television. Romance at its finest.
Murphy proposed to Edmonds in July, while the two were watching TV. She reveals he walked over to her casually, and then surprised her by getting on his knees.
She asked him what he was doing and he replied, "I'm about to ask you to marry me," before he presented her with a canary yellow square diamond, surrounded by two white diamonds in a platinum setting.
She recalls, "I was speechless for a moment when I first saw it." Modest Edmonds admits she has no idea how much her engagement ring cost her man.
Modesty? When your man is a multi-millionaire, you don't really need to know how much your ring costs. How much do her beard girlfriend/wife services cost, though? That's the question.

That's a bold face lie. I don't know a single engaged or married chick who didn't immediately try to figure out (or in my case just straight up ask) how much the ring cost or how many carats it is. And rich women are the worst they are all about $$ and how much their rocks cost (so they can throw it in your face and say their rocks are bigger than yours). Some women may not know the exact dollar amount, but we all know the carat weight down to the .10 which is the same thing. She's a liar!
How ever much beard services cost, you end up paying with your dignity and that's the truth.
i honestly don't know the size/cost/quality of my ring. i love it just the same. i just thought it was inappropriate (and none of my business…all that matters is he wants to marry me) to ask. that doesn't mean i'm not crazy curious, miss bmd! guess i'm just too much of a punk to ask!
I will not be wearing the down payment of a house on my finger. Lawd knows I'll probably lose it several times. I want the lab-made diamonds. They're about half as expensive and I won't have the image of a limbless black girl in my head every time I look at it as I did with my diamond studs…before I lost them.
