I have lived in an Islamic country and everyday was a challenge. As a Christian I faced discrimination on regular basis. Countries in the middle east do not play by the same rules as we do here in the west there is no such thing of freedom of religion or the right to worship in peace if you are not a follower of Mohamed.

Christian women in Egypt are often abducted and forced to convert under the threat of rape or being killed. My own uncle was poisoned in a hospital, the only way we ever found out how he died is because his friend who was taken to the same hospital got suspicious of the staff and never swallowed the pills that were given to him.
My uncle was not so lucky.

Americans need to wake up the enemy is full of rage and hatred. Moderate Muslims are
co-conspirators of these crimes because they often turn a blind eye or try to justify these crimes while giving us in the west the idea that Islam is a religion of "Peace" when in fact its a religion of forced submission.

I did study Islam and found nothing redeeming in it. Obama should have the support of all Americans
especially the religious right wing, he arrived at Christianity by choice and not submission where as the likes of Bush were born into it and often take the religion for granted or manipulate it to suit their own corrupt agendas.

Oh whatever. Muslim is a religion not something passed on genetically or something. I doubt it will really have an effect. Are people really going to care about the guy's father who isn't even alive? Its just creating fears about electing him.

What you said was closed minded and short sighted. Your experience living in an Islamic country is just that, YOUR experience. Not all Muslims behave the way in which you have described plus the situation with your uncle just sounds like a hateful person period, not because they were possibly Muslim.
Islam is NOT is religion based on hate. Just because a small minority have perverted the religion to their benefit should not reflect on everyone else. No one is ostracizing all Catholics because of a few pedophile priests. Also, no one admonished all Christians because of David Koresh. If people of faith, any faith, spent all of the time denouncing those who corrupt their religion, no one would get anything done.
You say you found nothing redeeming in Islam. Where did you look? Did you come into the situation open minded or did you already have your mind made up? This mind set is the reason why people in the Middle East have issues with the United States. It’s not because of our “freedoms” it’s because we think we know what’s best for everyone else.
