Vagina Puppets Are So Much Prettier Than The Real Thing

Can someone call Miss Manners? I'd like to know if vulva puppets are appropriate before 6pm.

Tyra's vagina show went down (ha!) yesterday, and it was as Tyra-ish as I expected. NSFW, if you work in the kind of place that frowns upon vulva puppets.

If you're over the age of 14 and learned anything from that, I feel sorry for you. Thanks to blue state education, everything there including hand mirror bit was done during middle school.

I just understood that Q&A bit on tampon boxes about not having to take tampons out when you go #1 or #2. "This is where the pee comes out" LMAO. No shit.

If I walked into a girl's room and saw a pussy puppet pillow on her bed, I wouldn't know whether to run or stay and see what happens next.

I still need gifts for my bridesmaids. Y'all think they'd be upset if I bought them pussy puppets?

If I spent money on my friend's bridesmaid's dress, shower, etc., I would be so pissed if she gave me a pussy puppet. I am starting to alienate myself from my greedier engaged friends so I can escape wedding B.S. How are you going to have a 50K wedding when you're in grad school and worth negative 100+K?!

well daria, for the benefit of me and maybe BMD, what would be an ideal bridesmaid gift? throw out a few ideas, please.

oh and i've got one more salon for you in boston: kai at salon red on newbury.

Here are some ideas for the brides-to-be:

Pearl Earrings

Tahitian is too expensive. Akoya is nicer than freshwater but both are nice.
I'd rather get big pearl earrings than a set, but I'd appreciate either:

If your friends are less… prissy, then try black pearls:

A post-wedding spa day. Lots of way to save on this.

Avoid clothes, perfume or anything with a smell that people might not like. You can also get a framed picture of you with your friends.
If your friends are more into silver, 925 silver jewelry is pretty cheap.

gossipjunkie, I went to Salon Monet on Newbury. My hair has not looked like shit in a lifetime record 4.5 days! I'm supposed to go get an Aphogee treatment (the thing that smells bad). It seems pricey ($60). Is it worth it?

If you've blown your wedding budget already, then look for gorgeous jeweled vintage compacts. This is time consuming but generally cheap.

Don't get engraved things. Just don't. If you've already gotten them, then it's totally fine. :)

I already know what I am getting them. I just haven't gotten around to buying them yet. They're all getting diamond stud earrings. My maid of honor will get earrings and a necklace. I have a hookup back home, but I haven't had time to fly back to LA. Going this weekend. So I'll have one less thing giving me an ulcer come Sunday.

dag, bmd! you're balling out of control!! na, that's nice. i have to think of something. i have a lot of girls so i need to keep price a little more in mind.

thanks, daria. i don't know about the aphogee treatment. i like shelly at salon monet but the last two times i've gone to kai (pronounced kind of like kah-ee) at salon red just for a switch. she does a good job (maybe one touch better than salon monet, in my opinion, but fairly similar) but mostly it's that i just happen to like her personality a lot. and she's young and a went to college with a bunch of my friends. small world.

I would forgive a lot of bridezilla crap if I got some diamonds. Most of the time, I start to forget why I'm even friends with such psycho chicks to begin with.

LOL. I don't feel like a baller. I feel like a pauper for real right now. It's not like they are getting 1ct diamonds. The ones I have picked out are .45ct and like I said I have a homie that gets the hookup on diamonds so I'm only paying $150/pr. I wish I could do more. My girls have flown back and forth btwn LA and SF for me on their dime and have dealt with my BMD-ness and for that I am forever grateful. :-)

Gossip - when do you get married?

Posted: Nov 7, 2007 at 4:43 pm
No. 14 · daria

I think the lack of gratefulness and profound sense of entitlement is why so many bridesmaids end up hating the brides. Just don't be an evil witch and MAYBE you'll still have friends after the wedding. Oh. The GOLDEN maid of honor horror story: one of my friends got in her car and traveled several hundred miles to NC for her "best friend" from high school. Bride is a total psycho control freak, breaking down occasionally, cussing people out, telling people they have to lose weight (shoulda picked skinnier friends. I saw the pictures. The girl had some nerve with her arm cellulite and rolls telling someone else to lose weight). After the wedding, she completely disappears. She then calls my friend, her maid of honor, for the first time in several months to tell her that she's pregnant and that it's the role of the maid of honor to throw the baby shower!

Well this shouldn't be a shocker, but I have cussed some ppl out over this wedding. Mostly b/c I have some strong willed friends who are alpha females like myself and sometimes I have to remind them that "bride" is swahili for "boss" and what I say goes. Then I buy a few cosmos and we get drunk and they forget that I just said some ish about their mamas. ;-) Ha!

I think there's only one person I'd be willing to go through that crap for (because I know she would never cuss me out and she is very diplomatic) and I don't even think I'll be asked because she has sisters. It's a shame.

As long as you're fine with knowing that you're being talked about, bitch on. Hopefully, you only get married once and you will never put them through this again. Did you cut down the size?

Daria - Yea, they can talk about me, but it's all good. My best friend is my maid of honor and we've been BFF since we were 12 and there's nothing than come btwn us. She's knows how I am. LOL. Nope didn't really cut the size down of the wedding. I got my boy to man-up and tell his peeps that they need to fall back. Hahaha. Didn't work. I'm over it. I won't have my hair falling out over this ish. I don't care who comes at this point, but the first person to eff my day will feel the wrath of a very, very angry black woman (and her mother). I don't care how many guidos and irish ppl come - none of them want to deal with that. They can test me if they want though.

Seriously, talking about it makes my chest hurt. I have lots of anxiety about it. My migraines have been non-stop. Ummmm…a nice city hall ceremony would have been great.

so far no cussing people out, lol. don't think it will come to that….they'd more likely cuss me out, i've got a strong-willed friend or two.

bmd- in august 2008.

Limit alcohol consumption and no one will be acting up. All will be well.

Tyra just takes the Yaki straight from the bag and pins it to her hair these days. Fool SOMEONE.
