• "There are a lot of ragged ends dangling from the Hudson murders. Yet Chicago Police have arrested William Balfour — who was recently imprisoned on a parole violation — and charged him with the killings of three of Jennifer Hudson's family members. … Authorities have a murder weapon, but forensic tests have not linked the gun to Balfour. This is a case that needs a smoking gun. Police have a girlfriend who allegedly told police Balfour confessed and that she saw him with a gun similar to a .45-caliber Sig Sauer handgun, but the girlfriend has a misdemeanor drug case that could come back to undermine her credibility. Police had two bloody crime scenes — the Hudson home and the SUV — but couldn't find any physical evidence that could be linked directly to Balfour."
Way to give Balfour's attorney help with having the case thrown out of court, Chicago Sun Times.
Excellent work!
The thing about this article is that it's not a NEWS article, it is an Op-ed by Sun-Times columnist Mary Mitchell who has a history of rallying for men the courts prove the be guilty here in the city (with the except of R.Kelly)…but yeah an opinion piece shouldnt be 100% presented as news.
Another ragged end…
Is it not so that the child was found dead in the SUV and apparently killed at a later time (than the mother, brother)-all while Balfour was jailed?
This is what baffles me.
