Remember the first, homicidal-maniac-porn-star version of "Flashing Lights?" How about the second, more recent, white-girl-likes-to-party version? Well, as promised, Kanye West has delivered a third and final version of the video, now that the song is sufficiently played out and no one is pressed to listen to it anymore. Good plan. Kanye West is surely proud of his own superior artistry, but we all know that that's all that matters in the Kanyeniverse. So tell him you like all three videos a lot, okay?
no, no, no!!!!! not another one….please stop doing this to me…..this dude is nutty as a fruit cake…. some of you call it creativeness, i say he is walking a thin line between sanity and insanity….the song is getting old….again i beg you kanye……STOP!!! GIVE IT UP!!!!
One of the first things I learned about writing fiction was to avoid the cliched 'It was a dark and stormy night' opener. Clearly that doesn't exist in Music Video 101.
You know what? the first video was the best. It had fresh, original and strong imagery, and was sexy, intriguing and disturbing in equal measure.
The second had the feel of a slightly rubbish Maroon 5 promo, and here he's remade Sleepy Hollow. With the emphasis on the 'sleepy'. Zzzz.
Here's a Spanish version of the will.i.am video for the Puerto Rico Primary, podemosconobama.com. Pass it to your spanish folks.
I think I'm in the vast minority but I like the 1st and 3rd ones. The second one gave me a headache with all of those frantic cuts.
I guess it's because I like those music videos that tend not to make any sense.
i'd rather watch this because it took some thought and creativity…i'm so sick of seeing videos with just a bunch of half naked women gyrating on my screen. puh-lease.
