Fred Goldman Wants Everything — Fake Rolexes And All

Fred Goldman continues his emotionally fruitless quest for "monetary justice." A judge ordered O.J. Simpson to hand over his Rolex watch, royalties from a video game he appears in, and the any of the "memorabilia" involved in his Las Vegas sting op that he can prove is his. I've already explained that I think Goldman needs to both trim the 'stache and give this monetary justice thing a rest, but going after the man's timepiece is really over the edge.

Especially considering this:

In an interview, [Simpson's attorney] Slates questioned whether it was a real Rolex.

"Know any Rolex watches that sell for 125 bucks?" Slates asked, adding that's what Simpson told him he paid for the timepiece. The lawyer acknowledged that if it is fake, however, "it's a pretty good copy."

Rosenberg's order specifies a "Submariner Rolex Watch" that was identified in a photograph.

Cook, who said he saw Simpson wearing the watch in a photo posted on the celebrity web site TMZ.com, estimated its value at $5,000 to $22,000 if it's real.

"Then there's always what we call the celebrity value," he said, adding the fact Simpson wore it could make it worth still more.

Yes, $125 is too little to pay for a Rolex, but it's also way too much to pay for a fake Rolex. OJ should learn to haggle a little better than that. But I get it — if I were OJ Simpson I would only wear knockoffs, considering Fred Goldman can snatch his stuff whenever he is so inclined. Which seems to be every waking moment of his life.

Fred Goldman is a f-ing moron. OJ (probably) has shaved many years off his life as it is with the whole murdering his son thing. To spend the rest of your life living for the man is incredibly stupid. It's too much energy to spend on one person. You've got your dirty blood money as it is from the book deal. Why don't you, oh, I dunno, spend time with the kids and grandkids that are alive?

i agree with you, daria. i can certainly understand and respect his quest for justice, but i can't imagine that he's not losing his sanity in the process. one would have to be all consumed to be hunting down a watch that OJ was wearing in a photograph. sad and scary. i'm not advocating that he forgive or forget. but, it's time to move on. making OJ's life (and his own) a living hell is not going to bring his son back.

I think Goldman crossed over a long time ago, into pure psychopathology. If he had any family members who cared for him, he should've been institutionalized years ago. He's just not right in the head or the heart, and he is certainly not the only parent who has tragically lost a child.

He may or may not have killed his son no one but God OJ and those that died know the truth, he needs to move on he is not the only one who has had a loved one killed and didnt have justice served, he is just looking greedy now

Since, I'm sure none of your have had a child killed in cold blood…I'm not going to say how Mr. Goldman should handle this…

Personally, I'd do the same thing…because the thing that Mr. Simpson love is his money…(oh…and his white women…so actually, maybe Mr. Goldman is saving somebody…cause if O.J. don't have his money…he don't have his white women…)

So…I'ma get it…in fact…I'm gonna have a GREAT time getting it!!!

What Fred doesn't realize is that he is beginning to do what a lot of people thought impossible: make OJ look sympathetic.

He's ruining his son's legacy. That's the bottom line. Hunting down a fake rolex? C'mon!

Fred Goldman- What a pathetic Loser. I hope he is made to pay for everything he has ever done wrong in his life, even if it cannot be proven that he did it. Just look at his name. Perfect for greedy scum.Unfortunately giving a bad name to good people with the same last name. Our judicial system has become such a mess. Civil suit? Only a greedy jewish lawyer could pull off some garbage like that. Yes thats right. Greedy Jewish Garbage.
