Gabrielle Union Really Hates The Blogs

gabby.jpg Gabby Union's back to blaming the blogs for her bad press. She told AOL Black Voices that she wishes blogs would focus on the work she does in the community as much as they focus on her personal life. Unfortunately, I think one of the only stars that gets anything close to that sort of preferential treatment is Angelina Jolie, and, even then, the scale is definitely tipped.

In other words, Union will probably need to come to grips with the fact that if the blogs aren't writing about who she's dating and what she did the night before, they're probably not writing about her at all.

Gabrielle is giving herself too much clout with the black community. Nobody is talking about her terrible acting azz that much.
After reading that shallow, mindless Essence interview with her, Sanaa and Nia, they have all drop off my radar as possible quality actresses/sistagirls all together. So they are definitely not worth gossiping about.

i'm so sick of these successful celebs complaining about how bad they are treated. they should know that it comes with the territory and the amount of money that they make should be more than enough to soothe their hurt feelings and wounded egos. boo f*cking hoo.

I won't blame them for the article. Essence is increasingly trite so I won't hold the contents of the interview against them. As I'm told, these interviews are very long and involve a wide range of topics. The writer chooses what to include in it.

All three are good actresses at the very least. I love Gabi's style. I like Nia the most and I think Sanaa is by far the most talented.

As for Gabrielle, she should be careful as she runs the risk of being obnoxious like Jessica Alba. Except that Jessica Alba gets somewhat decent roles and complains about people not taking her seriously as she poses in a tiny bikini.

Well she should have spoke of those community efforts of hers in her interview with AOL Black Voices. I would like to know about those things… if its really true. I still hope thsoe rumors about her dating Hill Harper is not true b/c I know Essence Atkins use to date him and thats Gabby's BFF. It they did dot the man switch that is just nasty

It's part of the job, and it doesn't ruin you. I think there might even be benefits to it.

I read the Essence article. Essence did not make Nia call herself and company a trophy, suggest that we expect them to fly first class therefore they should and did not make Sanaa say she would diss a movie supporting fan if need be. You would never hear Cicely Tyson nor Angela bassett waste a good interview making such statements.

I was a big Gabby fan after seeing her a few times in person I thought she was really nice and is very pretty. But come on already quit complaining, how many actresses would love to have so much press. How about you just turn off your damn computer!!

Someone who got to fuck Derek Jeter will never get sympathy from me….on anything! Unless she starts spilling guts about that encounter - I could care less about this B-actress.

I like Gabs but she needs to get a grip. Would she prefer no one wrote about her or those trifling movies? I don't think so.

No blogger insists she show up at every opening and premiere. No blogger attend all those damn parties. Maybe if she spent her time writing or developing projects for herself we wouldn't have anything to write about.

Not that celebs deserve to be shitted on by the media, but you have to expect it to come with the territory.

If she wants more ppl to learn of her work with rape victims & other projects, she should create a website discussing those topics.

Gabby is talented as a party girl, but as an actress she's a bust.
Talented: Zoe Saldana (A list)hardworker
Talented: Hallie Berry (A list)Hard worker
Talented:Garcelle Bouvais(B list)needs to prioritize
Talented: Jurnee Smollett(will be A list)
Talented: Nia Long (B list/could become A list)agism is against her.
No Talent: Gabriel Union (C list)party girl
little talent:Sanaa lathan (B list)Party girl

My point being it's the party girls who have not taken the time to perfect their craft.
The are quickly becoming too old, too late.

That interview with Essence magazine made them look classless, ingenuine to the 'Arts", and kind of ghetto.

Sanaa Lathan's quotes conveyed more substance. She seems witty like she has her head on straight.

Gabrielle should not have wasted her time with what bloggers are syaing about her. She should care less. She should be more confident. I'm confused about why she would care anyway. She's always in pics with different men. WOW! What a great way to behave after you've been raped. Then she complains about how much money she makes! Please! Maybe she would have money if she wasn't flying to Miami one day and NY the next.Partying!

Gabrielle, how about you establish a non-profit that caters to women who've been sexually violated. Use your relationship with all those men to raise money and be pro-active!

Oh! And if I see one more pic of GU and Essence Atkins at party, I am going to hurl. Their everywhere.

They even went to DJ Demp's party! You would just think they would have so much class….how disappointing!
