Happy Valentine's Day! Right?

It's possible I'm stealing this idea from Cord over at our brother site, Mollygood, but the news day couldn't possibly be slower, and it's Valentine's Day — the most loved and hated fake holiday that ever was.

For that reason, I would love to hear your best Valentine's Day stories, be they good, bad, or very ugly. Or better yet, hilarious. Post away!

I hate Valentine's Day, no crazy stories though. I just remember always getting chocolate from boyfriends; boxes of chocolate, a chocolate cake, once even a chocolate jewelery box. And it always makes it awkward cause I'm allergic to chocolate and always tell people NOT to buy me any. But I always date the guy who didnt listen and ran in the store last minute and could only find chocolate. I think I've gotten chocolate more times than I've ever gotten roses. I know its the thought that counts but still! This year I'm single though so I dont have to worry about it.

The only positive about Valentine's for me is that its 2 days before my birthday.

I don't celebrate V-Day b/c my birthday is Feb. 16th. I celebrate that instead. Aquarians stand up! Don't think I've done Valentine's since high school.

Exsqueeze me, Aquarians? You guys are late blooming Capricorns…j/k! Happy Birthday ladies. Happy Valentine's Day everyone who cares about it. No stories, I don't think I have ever celebrated Valentine's Day. My non-romantic boyfriend is oh so grateful.

I don't understand what all the whining over v day is about. Sorta fancy (Ghirardelli, Russell Stovers) will be on sale this weekend. Lipstick Jungle is on. I got a fruit bouquet from my mama. This is probably the highlight of my week and really, this year thus far.
