RKelly your soul is required in HELL!

I guess the jury sent a message that Black women and girls continue to have no value in this society.

after it was concluded that the video couldn't have been doctored, I was almost sure that Kells wouldn't walk from this. wrong was I.

I hate to say this but, just looking at how this whole trial went down (folks refusing to testify and whatnot), if the family was in fact paid off by Kells to shut up…shame on them.

None of yall were on the jury so you don't know what they saw or talked about lol.

The burden for the prosecution is beyond a shadow of a doubt. Apparently the jury had a doubt.
So be it.

If you don't like the current system, come up with a new one instead of whining like children.

I don't give a damn what happened or that he was acquitted my life stays the same.

You and me too Michelle.

Tribalace, you have some damn nerve saying that. Those girls are someone’s daughters. I hope you and yours never have your bodies violated.

I don’t give a damn what happened or that he was acquitted my life stays the same.

By the way, if you can say that about these girls I wonder if you feel the same way about Sean Bell. Or the people who were affected by Hurrican Katerina(tp).

How did the prosecution NOT bring up the Chicago Tribune article and sister 2 sister article where is stated that the GIRL in the tape is the same girlfriend that has been living in his house.

Her name is SHONNA and everyone in Chicago knows it.

They also know about the girls he keeps in his studio, on the bus and how he picks up girls at the local high schools. Sad people… Just sad.

Now molesters every where will be empowered because no one will believe the little girls.

Vigilante Justice!!!!!

That I don't care what the verdict was and in any case it will have no affect on my life?

Was that so harsh to your sensibilities?? If so you must be outraged almost everyday of your life lol.

I spoke the truth y'all acting so outraged over something you know nothing about, none of you clowns were in the jury reoom deliberating this case nor were you in the courtroom.
Hell most of y'all would go out of your way to avoid jury duty lol.

This "little girl" was a 15 year old teenager, not a child. I generally find R. Kelly repulsive (it started with his music), but he didn't stalk and rape an innocent child on the way to sunday school. This girl, and the adults in charge of her, knew exactly what they were doing, letting her get involved with R. Kelly.

Sorry, but I have a real hard time viewing her as a victim. Having said that, I am shocked he got off of 14 counts. Perhaps the "evidence" wasn't nearly as strong as we were led to believe.

I know this will be hated but I agree with solitaire. None of us knows the whole story or all the evidence that was presented. Why would her family let her 'hang' with Kelly? Maybe the $$$ as good to them and they let it happen! And she wasn't a little girl who was raped.

Everyone hates the truth Justme nothing you can do about it so just say what you want.

Statutory rape laws are misguided, I think there should be more factors analyzed other then just age in order to call someone a rapist.

From what I heard (I've never seen the video, contrary to the dumbass Chic Noir I like mature women)she was a willing participant and she didn't testify against him or even admit it was her.

The prosecutions star witness was a "lady" who admitted to trying to extort money from Kelly's stupid ass in the past so I don't know seems like the prosecutions case was pretty flimsy but then again I wasn't in the courtroom or a member of the jury.

Wow, I really can't believe some people don't see a 15 year old girl as a child. Is this the world that we are living in, I mean really people? Are people so dumb, they don't distinguish between an adult and child. I'm 31 years old and for me to have sex with a 15 year old willing or otherwise is just disgusting. Maybe we are so desensitized to gratuitous sex that are thrown at us in the form of movies, songs, TV shows; we seem to brush it off. I don't care what the 15 year old did, R Kelly was still the adult in the situation. This isn't the first time, anyone remember the annulled marriage to Aliyah? Dude is just sick. For those that have a problem with the girl, let that sassy girl be your daughter, niece, god child, whoever…lets see if the same tune is played.

The person was allegedly 14 at the time of the incident… and I thought the premise was that it wasn't her? Do ya'll not believe the defense's premise and contend that he did it, it was illegal, he lied about it to stay out of jail, but it's okay. If ya'll think the laws should be changed, if R. Kelly thinks they should be changed, that's fine. There are channels that ya'll can go through to change laws, but it's best to respect the laws as they stand.

"Statutory rape laws are misguided, I think there should be more factors analyzed other then just age in order to call someone a rapist."

Like what? There are some areas that have "Romeo and Juliet" laws that allow for consensual partners with smaller age gaps to continue to… consent, but I have a feeling you're talking about cases like the one here where the person is like, twice the age of their underage sexual partner. Why should a 28 year-old dude be able to legally pull cover with a 14 year old, a person who isn't eligible to consensually vote, enlist in the military, drink, smoke, work full-time, drop out of school, have an abortion, get married — even to a contemporary — sign most legal documents, or get the death penalty? Why should sex with grown people be the exception… or should all of these things be age-blind, as well? I mean, I understand that society sends very mixed messages, especially to men, about this. There's a "wink, wink, nudge nudge" attitude about being sexually interested in older minors in our culture, yet it's simultaneously illegal. Either the laws or the culture should change, but until then, we should all obey the law and let teenagers boff each other exclusively, which is usually enough for them, anyway.

When the prosecution has a video and can't make the case, much like OJ, I place the blame on them, although I do think they had an uphill battle to begin. I mean come on, the victim here denied it being her (and really, would you admit to being pissed on, and not being outraged etc…?) and if you can't establish the identity of the victim beyond a shadow of a doubt, how do you establish the age of the victim (and no, I do not think it was not apparent, but you can't skip steps in establishing the criminal act - if you are missing an element of the crime, you lose)? Frankly, anyone who brings a child into his environment should be held accountable, I mean this isn't new with him…..

contrary to the dumbass Chic Noir

Thanks for the compliment.

She was a willing participant and she didn’t testify against him or even admit it was her.
1. She was 13-14 not 15.
2. Plenty of women are raped and they don't file charges or testify but it does not mean they were not rapped.
3. Maybe she was embarrassed as many women would be after having a sex tape(featuring a go.lden shower) aired all over the net and the streets.

76classic- You would be surprised, some of these people would treat their own daughter the same way. A man is never wrong in their eyes because somehow the women has "pushed his buttons".

A liaison between at 16 & 19 year man old is a grey area. A liaison between a 35 year old and 13 is totally in the sicko category.
