Hilton, Spears…Obama?

Here we go! The latest and greatest Obama attack ad out of John McCain’s camp not only juxtaposes the Democratic nominee with wearying tarts Britney Spears and Paris Hilton, it also resorts to one of the oldest scare tactics in the book: reminding everyone that Obama wants to raise taxes (possibly to fund his wife’s Black Panther arsenal? Nobody knows!).

It’s still only July, kids.

[McCain's campaign manager said during a conference call today that juxtaposing Obama with Spears and Hilton was nothing more than comparing "apples to apples." -- Lauren]

i saw this earlier today and just rolled my eyes.

Paris Hilton is famous for absolutely nothing (except having sex on camera and being a party whore). She hasnt done anything recently. She ist that famous now anyways.

Britney has spent the last year or two fighting for custody for her children. Not really done anything related to music (except her album she barely promoted b/c she had gone crazy). But she is on her meds again so she hasnt acted out or anything recently.

Barack Obama has never been on a sex tape, isnt a party whore, isnt in a custody battle with his kids, cant sing, we know the brother cant dance….so this isnt comparing "apples to apples."

Barry is popular b/c he has an inspiring message. I feel back for the McCain campaign that they have to resort to this mess to smear his name while BO's ads never trash McCain. Instead, BO's ads focus on him and what he is about.

What a f*cking joke!! Apples to Apples really!! Anyone with half a brain knows Obama is nothing like those girls. Even if you don't like Obama you know he is in NO WAY Britney or Paris. Is he is trying to imply that he's a young fool like them? Really the man is a 46 year old educated, experienced, highly respected man and father not some clueless 21 year old rich spoiled brat. Mc Cain really shouldn't play the age card cause he will come out a loser every time.

Yeah the comparison is stupid. He probably did it because many people are comparing Obama to Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy. Those comparisons are more appropriate but they make McCain look bad.

Hmmm. John McCain likes using ethnic slurs, much like Paris Hilton. He also refers to his wife as a "c^nt" which is also up Paris' alley.

His daughter referred to Obama as "sexy" and crotch flashing might be up her alley. Hmmm. Someone got their fruits mixed up. Must be dementia.
