Identity Politics 101 With John Gibson

John Gibson of Fox News Radio to a pro-Obama caller:

"You don't know what Barack Obama stands for. You just like him because he's — he's — he's like you and you want to see one of you up there, and you don't care what he stands for."

The caller may or may not like Obama just because he's black, but I think we all know at least one reason why John Gibson doesn't like him.

I appreciate that Fox does not try to B.S. you into believe they aren't bigots. It's amazing that to them, if you're not a straight white man, you cannot possibly have the mental capacity to make a decision based on anything other than your skin color, genitals or bed partners.

Yes, there are some people whose support of Barack is based solely on his being black. It's laziness really. The few hours it would take to actually figure out what you're supporting seems to heavy a load to bear. The same can be said for McCain Stans as well as everyone who votes solely based on party.
