It's not shocker that TMZ has a video of some star going crazy on a photog. They harrass and taunt and annoy and generally have some punches coming to them. At the same time, this is the price of fame. So stars should learn to deal at some point. Or at least they should avoid "celebrity hotspots" like Hyde, where Mos Def was surprised and dismayed to be caught on camera.
If Mos Def was really not part of the whole Hollywood thing, which is what he was trying to say to the unreceptive, but very large, photographer, then he wouldn't be in so many movies, and he definitely wouldn't be at Hyde.
Nothing makes me smile more than seeing a photog get his camera knocked to the ground and blown to pieces.
Mos Def should be thrilled someone/anyone would want to take a pic of his gorilla face.
awww…I think he's rather sessay.

JB, ditto. I'm not sure when I started feeling for rich famous people. The candids boom did it. Anyone who has ever appeared on TV, their offspring and significant others (alleged or otherwise) is fair game for some reason. It's creepy and I don't need to see it. It ruins movies for me.
bmd, he is a cutie. I don't know what solitaire is on.
At a certain point the photog starts feeling big and starts running his mouth, too, which is kinda funny. And he's standing there face to face with Mos like their about to throw down? It was weird.
One day there's gonna be REAL fight.
"You don't like it? Go back to New York!"
Fighting words! LOL. See, I couldn't be a star. I'd be inclined to find some negros on the corner trying to hustle their demo to rough homie with the camera up for a couple of minutes of my ear time.
