Dear Internet,

Sorry to leave you hanging, but I’ve been quite busy lately. Tax season! or whatever, right? Then I had to go to Trader Joe’s, and everyone in NYC knows the lines there are ridiculous! Oh, and then I had to go to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to donate a kidney to my ill father. Yes, seriously.

Not to be nosy, but what the hell is your daddy doing in Riyadh? I thought you're from Colorado. You might want to stop reading that book with "muslim vaginas" quote. For some crazy reason, I'm under the impression that the government would frown on that.

I may have to do the same (sans the international travel) for my mother in the not too distant future so I know all the shit (tests, giving up of vices, etc. you have to go through)….
