Is Anyone Missing On Ebony's September Cover?

Tyra Banks, Iman, Kimora Lee Simmons, and Alek Wek grace the cover of September's Ebony, which focuses on blacks in fashion over the last 50 years and is on newstands today. Naomi Campbell is framing this and putting it on her wall.

I doubt its an Ebony missight- more likely (1) Naomi wanted too much money and (2) Beverly has some sort of scheduling conflict.

Agree with SteelMagnolia. Naomi is fussy. I love Iman and Alek.

That was nice of Tyra to demand her BFF have a spot on the cover as well.

P.S.: Boo to Alek for that fur. If Tyra is insightful enough to not wear fur in her professional life, I expect at least as much from Alek.

"faux" fur is actually dog and cat fur. didn't you see that special earlier this year?

I don't know if I believe that ALL fake fur ALL over the would is made from cats and dogs - when it is so easily simulated so I just googled animal friendly faux fur and I came up with a lot of designers that make animal friendly, man made materials that simulate fur. They probably feel like shit, but do the trick for a photoshoot. Now is Alek Wek wearing an animal friendly faux, that's the question??? Now that I look at it…she totally stands out. She's isn't wearing black - I know she's dark, but damn let her wear black like the rest of 'em - and she has an accessory piece. It's like the shoved her in the pic at the last moment.
