Is It Kimora's Fault For Overcharging Or Macy's Fault For Falling For It?

Kimora Lee Simmons clearly thinks the items in her cosmetic line are both fabulous and worth more than average beauty products. Macy's begs to differ. The company is suing Simmons for jacking up the prices on the cosmetics she sold to the store and refusing to pay back the extra profit. Macy's might not know that there are crushed-up precious gemstones sprinkled in the lip gloss and bronzer. That's why the stuff is so expensive.

Whatever. All of her stuff looks loud and hood. I don't like flashy looking clothes or accessories (ie, clothes/accessories with the company label written all over them).

When she first came out, I purchased a yellow lambskin purse from her Soho flagship store. This was…like 5 years ago maybe?? Whenever the store first opened. Anyway. The last time I was at that store (two years ago) everything was so cheap and poorly made. She could have been a style icon. Now she just plays one on TV.

I love this woman. She is such a hustler. She is pretty much everything I hate in people wrapped up in a package, but she's honest with herself and I can't knock her entrepreneurial spirit.
