Isaiah Washington Supports Gay Marriage

Isaiah Washington, who was fired from Grey's Anatomy for either calling co-star T.R. Knight a faggot or, as he tells it, announcing that he is not Patrick Dempsey's faggot, just made a big donation to Equality California, an organization fighting to stop an anti-marriage amendment in the state. He made the donation after his publicist married his partner and requested that donations be sent to the organization in lieu of gifts. Washington seems to be trying very hard to rebuild burned bridges in Hollywood and is probably slowly succeeding, but his upcoming guest spot on A&E's The Cleaner sort of pales in comparison to the role of Dr. Burke.

I really miss him on Grey's. His character and Sandra Oh was the best! They need to get rid of that skanky Katherine Heigel.

I admire that he's making genuine attempts. Good for him. What he said was stupid and I don't think it came from a place of hate. It was pure ignorance. I certainly think ignorance can be fixed. Hatred? Not so easy to fix.

I LOATHE Katherine Heigl. Emasculating your supposed BFF repeatedly by spreading his business and saying you'd fight for him spreads the misconception that gay guys are weak and can't defend themselves. Furthermore, I loathe her and hope they keep her on, giving her the most horrible story lines. Basically, do her like Bravo is doing Project Runway. She is such an ingrate
