The lone black senator in the Nebraska state legislator decided to sue God in order to make a statement about frivolous lawsuits. When you take a look at Sen. Ernie Chambers and read his (pretty interesting) story, this grand gesture doesn't really come as such a big surprise.
Chambers says in his lawsuit that God has made terroristic threats against the senator and his constituents, inspired fear and caused "widespread death, destruction and terrorization of millions upon millions of the Earth's inhabitants."
The Omaha senator, who skips morning prayers during the legislative session and often criticizes Christians, also says God has caused "fearsome floods … horrendous hurricanes, terrifying tornadoes."
He's seeking a permanent injunction against the Almighty.
Well, he certainly has a flair for the dramatic. Meanwhile, Sherri Shepherd is clutching her chest in shock and horror.

The fan behind him gives him an angelic presence. Does it not?
Son looks like Frederick Douglass.

I suggest that everybody read the link about this mans catalog of good deeds. The man is a true civil rghts activist. The entire article is basically about how highly skilled this man is, at angering white people who don't like his brand of justice (also see: equal treatement). The man is amazing. Too bad he has put himself in such a poor position with El Shaddai. I couldn't imagine a man doing so much good, being so far away from God. On another point though, I wonder if Mr. Chambers has seen the film, "The Man Who Sued God."
