In today's generous-diva news, Jennifer Lopez performed her song "Let's Get Loud" at the graduation ceremony of a class of 10 and 11 year olds at a school for autistic children. Inexplicably, the children were obsessed with both the song and the video, and once Jennifer Lopez caught word of this, she was inspired to visit and perform for the kids. Since the article doesn't say that the kids went home disillusioned and confused, she definitely lip-synced her performance. Joking! Mostly. It's a sweet story.
This post made no sense until I read that the kids are autistic.
Nice of JLo though.
Solitaire… consider your audience… your comment was rude…
chances are this kids are reacting to the intense stimulation of the sound and movement - not because they are deficient and somehow like JLo because of it.
divaliscious11…mom to a fab autie - but she prefers alicia keyes!
That joke was mainly directed at JLo and her music, the autistic kids were just a conduit. In any case your kid seems to have much better taste in music anyway.
Odd. I thought autistic kids didn't like such stimuli.
Totally depends on the kid. some are hyper sensitive, so shun loud noises etc… some are hypo-sensitive and crave loudness and movement and more intense stimuli……
DD mostly craves physical contact from a sensory perspective..and she does have good music taste…
