At a campaign stop in Missouri today, Barack Obama said "Nobody thinks that Bush and McCain have a real answer to the challenges we face. So what they're going to try to do is make you scared of me. You know, `he's not patriotic enough, he's got a funny name,' you know, `he doesn't look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.'"
Here's the McCain camp's response: “Barack Obama has played the race card, and he played it from the bottom of the deck. It’s divisive, negative, shameful and wrong.”
What do you think? Here's what I know. The race-card accusations didn't work so well for Geraldine Ferraro, and I'm not sure how well it's going to work for John McCain, either.
drop dead already, John McCunt. God, when the f is he gonna go away?
well BO is only speaking the truth!! right now the republican strategy is to go negative and make white blue collar workers scared of BO like he's the boggieman or something?
I am surprised the McCain camp hasnt accused BO of having a black child! LOL!!
Let me see? Unlike the people on the paper money, Obama isn't old, ugly, wearing a head (or wig) full of white hair, or gumming a mouthful of false teeth. Yeah, sounds like race could be the only thing he was referring to. (McSame, of course, resembles every bit of that.)
I can'r wait to see what Oberman and The Daily Show do with this one!
"The race-card accusations didn’t work so well for Geraldine Ferraro"
Or Bill Clinton.
Really? Since when has being black instead of white been a "card" to play in one's favor? These people can twist anything.
