Jordin Sparks Doesn't Care What Mean Anti-Obesity Experts Say About Her

Evil media whores from on Fox News be damned, American Idol's Jordin Sparks says she's finally comfortable with her body. We all know that's probably a lie.

After nailing her Idol audition, Jordin's confidence began to soar. For the first time in her life, she embraced her right to bare arms. Before the show, "I liked to wear sleeves because they would cover up my arms," she says. When the show's stylists made suggestions, "I'd go, 'This dress is way too beautiful. If I add sleeves it will ruin it.' So I just got over it."

These days, "I'm really comfortable in my own skin," Jordin says with her signature wide smile. "I learned that I'm not ever going to be a size 2. I would look so weird as a size 2. Somebody would blow and I would fall right over. It just wouldn't be healthy."

Let me stop being cynical. She was probably telling the truth when said all of this. Give her a few months before she starts shrinking exponentially, insisting she still eats whatever she wants, and blaming the weight loss on the stress of fame.

I love curvy women.. Beautiful healthy women are a plus… and if she has the personality to match then we're golden.. Never starve yourself to slim down to nothing… not healthy!

blackmistressdiva, I agree. I don't care how well-adjusted you are. I don't care if you loved your body you were yesterday. Having someone say something that harsh in public about you will do its damage. If she said it was unwarranted (and it was), I would say more power to her but acting like it didn't do any damage is silly.

Katherine McPhee was bulimic to start with and when bloggers started saying she didn't look like she had an eating disorder, she lost weight.
