Kanye West and Selita Ebanks Try To Be Inconspicuous, Fail

selitaebanks.jpgAs Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey publicize their improbable love across the world, formerly engaged Kanye West and Cannon's ex-fiance Selita Ebanks are finding rebound love in each other's arms, according to Page Six.

They were spotted trying to sneak out together late that night after dining upstairs. They looked "cozy" when they left, according to a spywitness outside. "They were trying to be inconspicuous, but they were smiling and walking real close, and they hopped in a waiting car together laughing and took off."

What Page Six doesn't mention is that Ebanks already found her rebound love with her football-playing boyfriend Osi Umenyiora. Wonder if Kanye knows about him?

Maybe she broke up with Osi.

He can do better. Just saying. VS has become Frederick's and I associate that tackiness with their "Angels"

Ok I had to google Osi (football's not my sport) But he's cute! 6'3 260lbs. On looks alone I pick him over Kanye.
Selita always looked pretty quiet and nice to me. The kind of woman who could just ignore Kanye's ego.

Meh. They're both 7s in the looks department. 6'3" is nice but 260 is too fat or too muscular. It's best to date men with medium frames. If you date a big guy, you're pretty much guaranteed to eat a lot more and gain pure fat as a result.

Also, pro athlete vs. ahem… eccentric rapper. The latter seems less shady.

Daria my ex was almost that size 245lbs and 6'3 and he was that muscular before but gained weight over the years frame. So sometimes its not that bad. I hear you on the guaranteed to gain weight theory though. I just learned to watch him eat half the time. lol

Nothing curbs the appetite more than dating a guy who only weighs 10 or 20 lbs more than you do. If you want to lose weight, I strongly recommend it. It's better than any diet pill or illegal appetite-curbing drug out there. It has nothing to do with him or what he wants. Even if he absolutely loves your body (and he should), you'll lose weight.

I also feel like even if it's muscle today, it'll be fat tomorrow. Throw in the increased risk of sleep apnea and you're widowed at 35.

@ Daria:

There was a released story a few months ago about Victoria Secret trying to clean up its image. According to the report, VS had gotten "too sexy."

No. It's not "too sexy." The whole Angels thing as well as the runway show have become extra trashy. It's not about the amount of skin they show. It's just the general feel of their campaigns. Agent Provacateur is very Secretary. It's "erotica" versus VS which has gone from just attractive women in lingerie to opening scene of bad porno. It looks like the quality of the products are going down too.

VS has become like Fredricks now that I think about it Daria. If you look at the images from their older catalogs when Stephanie Seymour was the spokesmodel, things were sexy but classy. Now VS pics reminds me of the myspace booty models.

VS's first runway show feautered clothes you could by in the stores. Now all their runway shows feature is a number of costumes.

Since VS clothes aren't that great, they aren't carried in most of the stores. Even if you look back to 2000 when skinny TyTy and Laetitia Casta were doing it, it was very sexy yet tasteful. Having tan bony chicks with man faces wink or pose suggestively isn't really cute. What is the point after all? It's not Maxim. It's a lingerie store and though some men might enjoy their catalogs, sales come from women. How is their fashion show getting me to come in and buy their sh*tty, overpriced bras?

There are booty models on myspace?

It seems like Selita may be all about the come up and Kanye is definitely more popular commercially than Osi. If, as her ex said about her dating Nick Cannon, she's seeking to become a real celeb, she's hit the jack pot with him. I think his career may also be a bit more stable if she's all about the ends…

daria, what's up your tree today? you are bringing a whole lotta "b" to this topic. you are far too intelligent and insightful to resort to the childishness of "rating" someone on a 1-10 based on looks. may i ask from whom you are basing these ratings? it's not only black women that are gorgeous, it's black men too.
i have been dating my "big" (more like medium) guy for more than 2 years, and have not gained an extra pound. just because he eats like the italian that he is, does not mean i have to get fat too.

as for the topic, why do these celebs find it so hard to just be alone? they are always back on the hoe stroll mere months, weeks, days, after breaking up with their "fiance", or true love. trashy.

Daria, who are the manfaced models you are talking about?

di-my-e, for celebs it's more about keeping there name in the public. Selita was the 13th highest paid model last year.

@di-my-e: I lived in a frat house. Can't help with the rating. As for the getting fat, if you don't, great. Since dating often revolves around dinners, it's quite difficult to just watch someone eat a ton. Good for you.

#Chic Noir: I don't want to name names, but I'll just say the currently pregnant one that everyone seems to adore. She used to be very pretty but when you lose all the fat on your face, those sharp jaws and chins start looking manish.

Oh I know who you are talking about. I must look at her again, was she once heavier?
