Keisha Whitaker, my favorite wife of an Oscar winner (sorry Pauletta Washington), just launched her makeup line — Kissable Couture — in LA. Her daughters and famous hubby came out to support, of course, along with some famous (and semi-famous and not-so-famous) women of color. Pics after the jump.

Her daughter (the one not with Forest) looks just like her mama. #2 is definitely all Forest. #3 is a good mix of both.
What does Christina Milian do for a living?
Forest Whitaker is a vegan. How come he's not thinner? When I was vegan, the only way I kept weight on was by eating lots of nuts and nut products in disgustingly large amounts. I'm now transitioning back to that lifestyle but I'm addicted to bread and Armenian crackers.
I new makeup line. Yay! Back in the day - when I was more motivated, that was my end goal with makeup - to have my own line. In some ways it still is, but I am very, very lazy at this point in my life.
I did Gina Torres' makeup once. She's a sweetheart and has a great face.
Forrest's kids are cute considering….
Arent they Scientologists?
No. He was in Battlefield Earth which was based on a book by L Ron Hubbard, Scientology founder
Don't know, but that would explain why the kids are cute. Alien DNA.
They're cute because their mom is pretty. The 2nd one is pretty much a clone of her daddy. Forest has some other kids with some other women. One is named Denzel. I wonder what he looks like. Kids who are named after devastatingly gorgeous people have a way of turning out tragic looking.
daria, can you quit whatever your day job is and start studying genes/looks/matches? if nothing else, you can help conan o'brien with that little segment
Day job = finding a job which is precisely why I have so much time on my hands on non-interview days
I majored in Bio, TAed in genetics and was the only one in my Bioethics course who didn't think eugenics was necessarily bad.
lol, i was gonna say be a cosmetic eugenicist, lol!
Eugenicist? Is that a fancy word for "god-king"?
It's basically using what we know about genes to make humans better. A cosmetic eugenicist would work to make humans more attractive. The "ugly" side of eugenics is that it sometimes involves sterilization. I'm not recommending that or anything, but if some people knew how their potential children would look, they really wouldn't get together.
The more practical application is breeding out disease. If you know you have the sickle cell trait or you're a Cystic Fibrosis carrier, its good to not breed with other people who are also carriers. It goes for alcoholism, mental illness, certain cancers, heart disease, etc.
"A cosmetic eugenicist would work to make humans more attractive."
Ohhhh…so it DOES mean god-king. I'm pretty good at figuring shit out.
