Kelly Rowland & Friends Celebrate Her Album

And By "Friends" I Mean The Knowles Family

Last night, Beyonce, her parents, Michelle Williams, and others came out to support their girl Kelly Rowland at her NYC album release party, which benefited LifeBEAT, a music industry AIDS awareness organization. Another notable in attendance? Yours truly! But since I saw little more than a brief glimpse of Kelly Rowland and a clumsy-looking AJ Calloway, the photos after the jump will set the scene better than I can.

Mama Tina reminds me of some of my old aunties…high yella and evil looking. Hahaha. She just looks like the kinda auntie that you have that ALWAYS gave you a woopin' for nothing! Everytime you went to her house, you couldn't touch anything or say anything. You had to sit on the couch and watch the church channel while the grown folks sat in the kitchen drinking "punch" and playing bid whist.

The full lengths all look like the camera was one of those fun house mirrors where they stretch your body out and make your face look all sucked in. I don't think its a good look for anyone.

Ok so the 1st amendment don't carry much weight around camp Stereohyped, I can dig it. I just thought that such an event would have pics of somebody other than the dude from Shaft, a grown-up Jaleel White (I almost didn't recognize him without the glasses)and ol girl in white-t with a bad iron-on. Call me a hater if you like but I know there were better photo-ops up in the spot. But I digress..

Kelly Rowland is bad, but that weave is looking kinda heavy, almost like a weave. I normally wouldn't comment about that, but when I saw her on 106, I was like damn shorty need an upgrade. But she still looks damn good to me.
