In an utterly unsurprising movie, Kwame Kilpatrick, the uber-disgraced mayor of Detroit, has vetoed a city council resolution requesting that Governor Jennifer Granholm remove him from office. Kilpatrick argues that the city council can only remove him if he has been convicted of a felony (as of now, he's only been charged) or is "lacking in qualifications." Hmmm. The lawyer for the city council said his argument is "brainless."
Kilpatrick: Determined to stay the course because this shows character and if he backs down then the terrorists or Obamamites win…sorry, confusing him with Hillary and Bush again. I am so sick of politicians who never think of the common good.
how in the hell can he veto a measure by the council to remove him? why was he even allow a say in the matter? they should have special power in times of ridiculousness like this. especially if the decision is unanimous or close to it.
His megalomania astounds me. It's fascinating, really. How can he claim to love the city he's willing to run into the ground for the sake of saving face? And, didn't he disappear a stripper?! How is that not a felony? Jesus.
And, I hate his mother for calling this scandal a "WHITE wing conspiracy." No wonder he's got no shame — he's got folks in congress thinking he's a racial pawn. Has Al Sharpton spoken out for the guy, too?
Yeah, I'm-a really need him to sit down, like, yesterday.
Such an embarrassment.
Who needs Adam Sandler comedies when Kwame Kilpatrick is here to entertain us?
please end his madness
