I'm not sure exactly why Jermaine Dupri and Nelly are under the impression that a song featuring Janet Jackson and Mariah Carey is a good idea. Huh? It would be kind of like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera teaming up to sing a ballad, if you catch my drift.

Nelly's bright idea for his next album, which he has already called on Bruce Springsteen to participate in, is to do a JD-produced song with both singing divas (who are legends for very different reasons), with Janet possibly rapping.

If JD loves his girl, and I'm sure he does, he will keep her voice far, far away from Mariah's. You don't see Mariah agreeing to a dance-off with Miss Jackson, do you?

In a few months, when this song reaches number 1 on the pop charts, pretend we never had this little conversation.
