Tennessee, Mariah Carey's second film since 2001's infamous Glitter, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival Saturday. In the film, directed produced by Lee Daniels (Monster's Ball), Carey plays a "diner waitress who has demons to flee and singing dreams to pursue." Oh, boy! Of course there were persistent negative rumors about Carey's diva demands during the making of the movie — I wonder if the critical reviews will be as consistently negative.

Lee Daniels produced Tennessee, he didn't direct it.
This woman can't even wear a simple blouse without it buttoned down to her belly button! Ridiculous. On another note, she did play an italian mob-like waitress once before in an obscure movie.
*yawn*
This movie was shockingly good! I mean, Mariah should keep her day job, but she wasn't bad at all.
I've had a crush on DeNiro since I was 11 years old. I'm sure he has grandchildren my age.
