"McSame" is living up to his nickname lately, using "tactics straight out of Karl Rove's playbook"* to lower the public's opinion of Barack Obama by painting him as an out-of-touch, ill-prepared, fame-hungry, herpes-infected celebutante (or bipolar ex-pop star, take your pick). His attack ads have been so bad that the New York Times editorial board renamed the Straight-Talk Express the Low-Road Express.
What gets me the most, though, is the "out of touch" claim. Does the guy who is still trying to wrap his head around new-fangled technology like the internet and the fact that Czechoslovakia no longer exists really want to start that discussion? [NYT]
*Can we find a different way to say that?
