I was listening to a radio show yesterday, and they were talking about how extremely racist Ron Paul is. Why is it we don't hear these kinds of things when someone is running for President. Makes you think of all the stuff we don't know about who we choose to lead us.

I watched Ron Paul on Meet the Press last week, where he pronounced that the Civil War was a waste of time and lives. He believes that the South had a right to secede from the Union and that Lincoln could have just bought all the slaves and solved the problem. (There was an offer by the government to do just that at the time. It was turned down.)

As for the defense that he didn't write these articles himself, even if he didn't, he allowed his name to be tied to the newsletter when it was routinely printing virulently racist articles. Most sane politicians would have distanced themselves from that kind of garbage if they didn't believe it.

And… unless I'm mistaken, he was very pleased with David Duke's showing in the Senate race when he ran. Duke took 32% of the vote, which is obscene to begin with, but Paul thought that was just terrific.

Paul is a Libertarian. While the whole less government intervention thing sounds good, it is frequently a cover for a policy of allowing individuals to discriminate without any punishment from the state.

Huffingtonpost.com ran an article on the whole Ron Paul situation yesterday. He's not as sane as he appears.

Ron Paul is crazy. I sincerely believe that the many people who support him either haven't done their due diligence on him or they are just as loony as he is. Ever watch the faces of his opponents in the republican debates? They are LAUGHING at him. He's a waste of time IMHO.

More importantly…I think Game is kinda cute in a fucked up face kinda way. Am I alone?
